FFB Roll Sizer
Просмотров 4396 месяцев назад
Getting closer to the release of our roll sizer. Just have to fine tune a few pieces, and add on the tensioner. Right now, we have 0.008" worth of adjustability in the outer die so customers can tune the machine.

FFB .45 ACP Small/Large Primer Pocket Sorter
Просмотров 331Год назад
Sorting .45 ACP Small from Large Primers... We are continuing to work on the design of the machine, but due to case inconsistencies, we don't think we can get it to 100%. It'll be really close, but up to about 3% of cases won't properly sort. The solution to this is to re-run the sorted cases to further reduce errors. Right now, the machine is running just short of 12,000 cases per hour in the ...

fastandfriendlybrass.com/product/ffb-case-sorter-for-9mm-luger-and-380-auto/ Knowing how much of a pain it is to sort 9mm and .380, we've wanted a solution for a long time. And here it is. We deleted the other video as it had a butchered prototype top. This top shows the embedded lettering, but production models will be solid black. Runs from very slow up to 13,000 cases per hour. We are expanding! With our new sister company, Exceptional Machining LLC, all parts will be made in house. This video is showing a dry run, yet to be optimized, of facing, turning the ID/OD of material, interpolated milling of the index holes, and parting off of the shell plate. The parting tool is en route, and not yet here. From here, the shell plate will go to the machining center. Stay tune...
Blank case collation
Просмотров 8363 года назад
A customer of ours was having difficulty in collating 223 cases cut down to 9mm win mag length then turned into blanks for cowboy shows and movies. He sent us some cases to attempt to collate. His current "blue" collator would only collate these at 400 rounds per hour, and would frequently jam. We think we have his solution.

Well, as the old saying goes, if you don't have a truck, boat, or pool, you should have friends with one. Add a lathe to that list. The trimmer will work just fine without the jack nut. The jack nut, however, is what makes it leaps and bounds better than the competition.

I am gonna say some weird stuff.... I can watch that all day long, that brass self aligning through its drop. It is like cutting a chunk of steel on the horizontal bandsaw that has coolant system to flush the chips/swarf away, and I'll sit there and with a little back-drag rake pulling the swarf into a pile away from the drain screen... some reason, it is extremely satisfying, but, I am a weird guy like that..
